SE Live Demo Workshop Volunteer Request - 2026

This voluntary form will be used to choose volunteers for online demonstrations during a supportive SE demonstration day workshop with SE faculty member Abi Blakeslee. This information will be seen only by Dr. Blakeslee and confidentially disposed of at the end of the workshop. We will be recording these demos online FOR TRAINING purposes only. The content will only be viewed during the SE workshop. No information from the demo form here that you provide will be revealed in public without your consent.

You only need to fill out this form if you wish to participate as a demo volunteer.

This form does not need to be filled out if you are only planning to attend the Live Demo day.

Note for Returning Volunteers

If you’ve signed up before and nothing has changed in your information, or if you only need to make a small update, please email us at info@abiblakeslee.com. This is especially helpful if you weren’t chosen for a previous date (or it's been a while) and would like to be considered for a new Live Demo day. We want to make the process as seamless as possible for you!

**UPDATE** All demos will be recorded and replayed live for demo day.

Volunteers ONLY will have the option to view and decide if you would like to allow your demo to be shown for educational purposes. Permission can be offered for it to be shared in a two-way release. If a two-way release is granted, you can also show the video to others for educational purposes.

Requirements:

✅ It is essential for the online demo that you have a steady Internet connection.

✅ The demo space must be indoors, and in a quiet, private location with no other people around to ensure privacy.

✅ Please have a set of functioning (and pre tested) ear buds/microphone available as backup, in case the sound begins to drop out or quality of sound is poor.

✅ Once you confirm you will be able to do a demo, our tech support will reach out to you to schedule a brief tech check to make sure everything is operating smoothly.
